I suspect a lot of jai-alai "numbers" players get caught up betting first round run out combos. Actually i'm guessing the serious players bet house, run-out, second round run-out and oddball combos. You can tell by the low payoffs for tough numbers most of the time. Getting back to your original question, i think it would be very wise to include a combo that was possible to win in the second round. I wonder what the percentage of winning games come in the second round?
