Re(1): #41 - How do you pick your game winner?

I look for a combination of factors. In singles, I want a player who has shown that he's one of the best in that particular singles game, in a post position where he's not right next to the other good players in that game. In order for me to select a player in post 5 or lower, I have to feel that he is by far the best in the game, or he's on a real hot streak. The exception would be if a player drops in from a later singles game, in which case I'd go with the class edge, unless said player has shown in the past that he has no interest in playing in this game.

In doubles, I look for two players who have shown that they play well together, and who also have decent records in that particular game, in a post position away from other good teams. Again, they'd have to be easily the best team in the game in order for me to key on them from post 5 or lower.
