From personal experience, cold streaks last a long time. OH.....you
mean hot and cold streaks for the PLAYERS!!!
I'm with you on this issue, Tiger. I prefer not to bet on a guy
who has been slumping until he shows me that the slump is over.
A run of poor performance often has an underlying cause. It could
be a minor injury, it could be a bad shipment of cestas, it could
be stress in a player's personal life.....but whatever the reason,
I like to see that the slump is over before I plunk my money down.
It's worth mentioning here that as much as I prefer Dania over
Miami, one area in which Miami trumps Dania is that Miami's program
pages give each player's stats for the last ten performances,
while Dania's program pages do not. I appreciate having that info
in the program, especially if I haven't had the chance to watch
much during the week prior to the performance I'm betting.
