You are exactly right, Perry. I remember years ago in Bridgeport some people were telling me that every game is fixed. I asked how they knew, and they said the lady in the concession stand told them that all the numbers were posted in the locker room for each game. How absurb!!! You could tell that these people have no idea how the game is played, and they never participated in any sport.I also agree they even if a few players set up a game by "dumping" the others players could make mistakes too, by over or under serving, etc.etc. I remember in Milford in the late 70's, Kirby and a few others were under suspicion for fixing games. I don't recall the outcome of that.Maybe some of the old timers remember. To change the subject, as for all my Ct. fans,"Come On Down". I moved to Florida last year from Shelton, Ct. and i'm loving it.
