Depends on what you call crazy....lol
If I'm behind by $80 or $100, yeah, I might bet more on the last
game to try to get even. The first trifecta I ever hit at jai-alai
was the 12th game at Bridgeport, when it was single points. I
had not cashed a ticket for the first 11 games, playing $12 a
game on quinellas, so I was down $132. For the 12th game, I decided
to play trifectas, and spent $24 on twelve straight $2 tris. Castro
I/Esteben ran six straight single points their second time up
to bring in the 173, which paid $356.00, oddly (evenly??) giving
me a profit of exactly $200.00 for the day.
I have bailed out in the last game a number of times.....and also
lost more in the last game a number of times.....but I do tend
to try to recoup in that last game when I'm behind, and I sit
on my profits if I'm ahead. But I NEVER play the superfecta.
