I guess some of this must be a "NO DUH" thing but,
payoffs in Superfecta games are higher (on average) than in 7 pt. games

and

skill plays a more important role in 9 pt games than 7 pt games (obviously I guess)

So, if you don't have a simulator that runs 9 pt. games, (or 7 for that matter) post position is less important in 9 pointers.
