I recently missed the Dania/Miami showdown to go to my sister's
wedding. There, I met the parents of the groom who live in Florida.
Since there was not much else to talk about and me being who and
what I am, I asked if they ever watched Jai Alai and the father
replied "No, because it's fixed". I was floored and
didn't even bother to attempt to talk him out of it; let him wallow
in his own ignorance.
Oh, and the reason you don't see kids or other, older members
of the same species (barely), having fun by flinging balls off
of walls is one thing: lawyers.
