What about a weighted system for the players to get paid for w/p/s?
In other words, each post position has a value and each post position
has a value when combined with another post position #.
I don't know how to explain it, but if there is so much money
to go to the players for win, place and show, each games payouts
would be different according to what the 3 teams in the equation.
If there is $150 to split up an example would be:
1-5-2 trifecta
The 1 team gets $80 to win
The 5 team gets $50 to place
The 2 team gets $20 to show
But, if the trifecta was 5-1-2 the payouts may be a little different:
The 5 team gets $90 to win
The 1 team gets $40 to place
The 2 team gets $20 to show.
Just a thought I had. Every game would have different prize splits
depending on the numbers involved. I am sure nothing like this
would ever happen and I am probably crazy for even thinking up
such a strange system.
