Hi Tiger,
Perhaps I am misinterpreting your payoff per dollar bet table,
but it appears that the payout ratio was over 90% in Milford in
99 for six of the eight numbers. If the takeout percentage is
20%, I am trying to figure how that can be? I'm sure you can straighten
out my thinking, since none of the 8 posts seems to have a takeout
of 20%.
I do not favor random posts. Part of the excitement of the game
is to see a well-handicapped game. Putting the best players in
the low posts take some of the excitement out of the sport itself,
as the combination of a superior player and a huge post position
advantage often equals a lopsided game and a very low payout.
