I'm left handed and with that being said I was a predominate left side player. I would say that wen i caught the pelota my hand was in the 2 position but when I threw a typical left side for power my hand was in the 1 position. When throwing left side kill shots my hand was in the 2 position. While I was learning to play, a veteran player was teaching me that 2 was the correct way.
