Good analysis zjaialai56.
Server chooses the ball, yes. Generally you want to take a dead ball out when facing a backcourter with a power right or who focuses his game with his right. And in some cases, we are just out of used balls because the used ball is no longer usable.
As far as that point goes, long and boring? Dude that is some classic fundamental jai alai. Those guys are pros, patient and waiting for an opening to put the point away. But they are so good that they never gave each other a chance to put the point away, instead, we witness a chess match that involves 34 reverses, 5 right side shots and 10 rebotes. Thats 49 shots in 1 point! And ZERO kill shots.
What is long and borng to some is a work of art and a display of patience i wish i would have had when I played. High cestas to those guys. Nothing exciting just really good fundamental and methodical jai alai.
