Thanks Florida Dan.
The diference in the advantages mentioned in Jai Alai vs Tom Brady is that in our sport it is legal. We can change balls, hear the calls of our opponents and film practices
I remember also watching guys soak a ball with sweat right before they served. The sweat would sometimes cause a crazy knuckle ball effect and sometimes make the ball bounce faster.
As far as Basque vs American, i think it is more of a product of training. I have seen some basque players be lethal with a kill. But well trained players are taught to have patience and wait for the right time. Most players, myself included, would probably panic after a point reached a certain amount of volleys then go for the kill too early and set themselves up for failure.
When I was watching this long point, all i saw was 4 guys that we super patient, waiting for the right time to put the point away or believe they can out-catch the other guys.
