I think the Milford architect did win some design awards. I also liked that building a lot. It was way way beyond the basic Ocala or Fort Pierce "barn" structure with zero design appeal. As hardcore fans, we could watch good jai-alai in any setting. But for casual fans, the building needs to have some appeal too. Milford definitely had that feel to it.....you wanted to explore the place and the layout. In addition to watching the games.
