I am sorry, I should've kept my view points to myself. I also know many, many honest jai alai players. I have made that statement before. what I have been saying in my other posts is, the game has gone downhill visually for many years. the attitude is so very plain to see. the players are not always playing to win. people see what is really going on. it is not their vivid imagination. or just how they see it, just because they are gamblers. well guess what , that is who all jai alai players have to impress. the gamblers, they will make you or break you. as long as you want to make money from gamblers they are what is most important for all of your paychecks. offend them, abuse them, watch what happens. well you have been seeing the steady decline of jai alai in the U.S.A. people have lost their faith in jai alai. I think it is the competition, and poor visual play. it has gotten to the point where you can't bet and watch the game. you find yourself out there saying "what the hell am I betting on !! this is not jai alai") even when you win, some times I feel a little guilty. I had no business winning that game, not like that. it is not just the money. yes of coarse I take the money, I am not stupid. but it is just not right. make a bet on a team in jai alai, and watch the front courter serve the pelota, then stroll 10 or 15 feet down almost on the wood, turn and face the side wall with both his back wrists on his hip. and watch the whole point. and it lasted quite a long time. his back court partner had to do it all. even on the last shot for his team to lose. it was a lame duck rebote that if he made 2 steps could of caught it fore handed and won the point ...but he just watched it bounce twice. and you think people will bet this sport. not for long. there is way too many other ways to gamble. hey, you don't care, guess what, we don't either. it's our money, we have it, you want it, do what needs to be done. seems very simple.
