I didn't know for sure, because, like Diego, I was born in '81 and never saw Guernica II play at Miami - I only watched recordings. I heard about it, but from a very reliable source, Big Dave Lemmon, when I announced with him at Dania about 8 or 9 years back. His father played late games but wasn't quite the dominant force, although, I'm assuming competition was brutual back then. Still, this has to be one of the best father/son combos of all-time, especially given that Diego is in the top 2 frontcourt discussion for the past few years. Some can even argue he is the best frontcourt doubles partido player currently. And doubles jai-alai is real jai-alai.
