Throwing 'heavy' doesn't necessarily mean and equate to quick fast flight. Throwing mechanics and technique more than likely account for it. A hundred mph on a 20-30 yr old gun is the same hundred on today's guns. Radar measures time, time is the same as is was. IDK if this is relatable, but Ossie Guillen's quick flip throw from mid range SS was clocked at 108 when with the LV Stars back in the 80's. Anyway, I would be hard pressed trying to debunk a guys live witness account on spec.~ :^)
