Re(1): Pepe's Green Sheet

I remember the Pepe's Green Sheet....was it $1 or 50 cents? Either way, old Pepe probably did pretty well for himself! Back in the days when the crowds were in the thousands they probably sold a good amount of the Green Sheets. And it was a single piece of paper....cost almost nothing to make. I'd like to be a "Pepe" and make the picks and split the profits with the fronton. That's pretty much just printing money. Make your picks and print a few hundred or so and let the program stand sell them for you. Keep $100-200 each performance for making picks. I remember back in the day the newstands and magazine stands all over Broward county actually sold the Dania programs for the next performance. The sport was so popular that people wanted to buy the programs in advance at a newsstand...imagine that! I think some of the stands may have sold Pepe's Green Sheet too.
