Milford fans had a love/hate relationship with Juaristi. If
he tried something fancy and hit the lower pad or the wood, they
would really let "Hollywood" hear it.
And occasionally in a singles game at Hartford, I think to
fire the crowd up, John Sawicki would introduce "The One.
And Only. GERNY!" And the crowd would ALWAYS boo Gerny. I
have to think Gerny got a kick out of it or Sawicki wouldn't have
done it.
