Sciatica sounds like my wife except for the "He" part !

If I had an 18 year old son that was say better than Churruca, I'd tell him not to play for like 30k a year, I'd rather see him become a male nurse ( RN) instead of a jai alai player. Assuming the kid isn't doctor, engineer,etc. material. Get a trade and a contractor's license. 5 years of pro jai alai (even if you are top 10 in the world) is worthless when you're 25 and there are no pro jobs).

Lots of reasons to not go pro. With baseball. etc. , I think you take the deal if the signing bonus is sweet enough.
