Most discussions on this site about present player's salaries have been generally over estimated. Doug, you are closer to ballpark figures than most estimates I see. BTW, 50K for top talent and 30-40K for early/mid gamers is exactly where it was in the 80's also...I don't believe that point has ever been discussed here. Unfortunately salaries have not kept up with today's inflation levels, but from what I made in 1970 to what I made in the 80's wasn't kept up in accordance either.
