Not enough data really. Post position needs to be factored
in for one thing. If it was more extreme like 70/30% then I think
the streaky guy might win more over a small sample size....or
finish last a lot of weeks. Players should be professional and
not have extreme swings and look like they are hung over one day
and coked up another. I can see factors that might effect play,
like....
Marital problems
Playing hurt
Stepping it up because your family is there watching....that's
just motivation and adrenaline
Disinterest to lack of a crowd.
I hope point dumping to get a Show is uncommon but it may make
sense mathematically....until such situations are computer analyzed
and you lose 75% of such points that get you the purse money....tough
to explain that one Kirby !
