'Perfect' serves cross the wall and are generally not caught. In general if your opponent is taking your serve on his right side, it didn't cross the wall. Even a crappy amateur can catch a serve that doesn't cross the wall. Your statement I would assume is geared towards a point in singles I'm guessing
