If Florida gaming really cared about the live crowds, they would
have done the Fort Pierce season in January, when the area had
all their 'snowbirds.' I live in Connecticut and personally
know of at least 15 people who live in Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie
or very close by. A few would go to the Fort during their seasons
as well.
By the summer I think that Snake may be fairly close to correct,
I can't see live attendance being even what it is now--the roster
will also be much smaller during that time. It's already known
that Goiko, Storza and Lopez will be in Spain...and who knows,
maybe Aritz & Rekalde will be gone too.
I have to say I am really enjoying the webcast though...good
announcing (it sounds like Keith got his inspiration from Scott
Hyatt), great play and often surprisingly good payouts.
