I would like to elaborate on the things we talked about but can
not because I believe that Benny & Lou's ideas are very good for
the right set up and I dare not intrude on what might be the
possible future of where this sport can go as far as fans and
players.
Just give Lou a call and chat with him and you will hear some
great ideas as far as being a fan can be.
It is a shame that the powers that controled this sport let
the game drown the way it has.New blood is needed on both sides
of the game in many many small ways.I do have a little faith that
if the right guys were in the drivers seat,then the sport could
attract more fans nevertheless gamblers.
As in everything,you need a good base to build from,and those
guys at dania might be the guys to start a new way of life for
jai alai,,,,or,,,,maybe I am just saddened by the way jai alai
was left to die and want a saviour/saviour's as in Benny &
Lou's ideas to help revive/save it from what might be a drive
into extinction/oblivion.
The bottom line is very simple, whoever is in charge for the
last 25 years or so need to be booted out! They did a HORRIBLE
JOB!
