tough to really go by the posted attendance, how many of those in the building are there just for poker, dogs, horses or jaialai. The summer in Ft pierce and St Lucie isnt the same as the winter, and i cant see many taking the trip from miami, dania or orlando when you can watch on simulcast. Orlando did step it up with their promotions, and it got more people in the fronton. Sure, they showed increased numbers across the board, but what were the expenses of that advertising and promotions? Could they be trying to inflate the jai-alai numbers to try to stimulate buying interest? They did afterall put on a big hoax that the building was closing, and had an offseason 'final' citrus. Just cant trust any of these oldtimers running a fronton, ie Miami and Orlando.
