At this point it seems the powers to be at Miami jai alai would
like nothing better than to do away with jai alai so they can
focus completely on the casino. It would appear it is their plan
to cut jai alai down to as little of a handle and audience as
possible and then at some point petition the state so they can
do away with it altogether. If that is their plan they are doing
an excellent job.
Kudos to the players who give 100% effort in what has to be very
discouraging playing conditions.
