They do not use pelota's at his court though. I understand
it to be some sort of a platic/rubber type ball similar to lacrosse
I believe. Someone from there would have to chime in on it to
confirm, but I do know they do not use a pelota.
It would be impossible to use a pro pelota on a concrete wall
without eventually causing catastrophic damage. Even a plastic
ball will wear down the concrete wall.
I know from playing with guys play in North Miami, ie, Luis
& Blanco, that the ball does not go nearly as fast a pro baseball.
Mind you my 'pro baseball' speed comparison are only from a batting
cage
I stick with the 60-70 range.
