at milford jai-alai there was a player named Gaydos that took
a direct hit of a right side from another player that fractured
his orbit and cheek bone and i believe also broke his jaw...
years later i was watching some old tapes of the sports channel
games of the week that used to be played at milford and in 1 show
they talked about the injury and showed it on tv...
i saw Gaydos during the final season at newport in the stands
1 day and thankfully he looked great...
Mike was a great kid on and off the court and very well liked
in the locker room...
