Orlando Jai-alai is the perfect place to get a few new patrons
hooked on jai-alai this season. All I would say to a new patron
sitting next to is "bet Foronda and Alliez to win all night.
If either of those players comes in first place in a game, you
win!"
Easy to bet and, once the game is over, easy to figure out
if you have a winning ticket or not. For most people, winning
anything is better than nothing at all.
Of course a seasoned gambler of horses or dogs would not be
satisfied with such measly payouts but someone gambling for the
first time would be quite happy and excited to cash in a winning
ticket no matter what the payout may be.
Hey David II, I don't know if you remember me from your Ocala
Jai-alai days but I remember you. You were there during the season
when Ocala had mostly American players and many had names that
begin with the letter D (David, Dale, Danny, Dave, etc). The
announcer had his work cutout for him that season!
I was only about 15 years old then and usually sat with two
other girls right in the front row. My sister (blond) and I (brunette)
always went to the fronton with our parents as a family and we
were usually allowed to bring a friend along with us.
Those were the good old days! Lots of great memories for me.
