One of the best prank is still the armadillo you put in one of
the lockers under the playing shirts in Ocala.
It was the perfect choice of locker and player. The locker was
centrally located were most of us sat and gathered waiting for
our game. I will not mention who the player targeted was in order
not to embarass him too much.
At the last moment I was made aware of something was going to
happen.
I will never forget this following scene.
Player start changing clothes, goes to program on wall to check
post number to wear, begins to pull on shirts from the pile needed
for the evening, armadillo jumps a couple feet in the air, player
scream at the top of his lungs, jumps too and starts running away.
You come to the rescue and save the armadillo.
I bet that armadillo has never been the same after that experience.
To this day, when some of us old timers gather and talk about
this prank, we still laugh like we did more than 20 years ago.
Heck as I am writing this lines, I am laughing so hard my dog
is wondering what is going on.
Definitely a hall of fame prank.
