I certainly wasn't there, so you know better than me. I just think handling player contracts that way is bs. The prevailing attitude among management over the years has pretty much been here it is, take it or leave it, no thinking about it, sign on the spot or else, if you don't bow down then we can blackball you, etc. That's an unprofessional way to do business....especially when dealing with professional athletes. That's all I am saying.
