Former player's manager Alfredo Garcia, used to make the new players practice 3 times a week, betwen matine and night for the first year, and if you didn't learned, it was [back to the fort] you go. But times are different now, these guys play 11 months out of the year and 6 days a week. And believe me, it takes a toll on you. On the other hand you can try to teach a mokey how to read, but if he doesn't have it, then he doesn't have it. But you may be able to use him for something other than reading.
