Also, Hoey played in the U.S. Amateur that was held in Dania a year or so later. He was probably to young to play pro when this tournament was held. Bennett's partner Rob Schwartz finished 2nd or 3rd in the front court at the Dania U.S. Amateur tournament and I believe he had the opertunity to go to Cuba but declined.
