Re(10): Players just collecting a pay check

Iru is a slug. It does not take someone of your expertise to recognize a lazy slob when they see one. But let's do a quick comparison with the current Kings of Laziness, Solo and Iru, and some of the other players on the roster.

Miguel - A fraction of the talent of either of those two, but 100 times the effort. He actually dives for rebotes. And he was in a major car crash a couple of years ago.

Oyarbide - The guy has fused vertebrae. The only thing fused to Iru is a cheeseburger.

Arriaga - Fractured orbital bone. No problem. Still a dominant force. Still have not seen Solo fracture a sweat.

Erkiaga II - Hustles like crazy to get shots.

The list goes on.

Either you are a groupie or the wife of a player. But either way, you are out of your mind. As I said earlier, I am not much of a gambler, and I have won money on crapcan players, and my opinion of them does not change win or lose, since I don't bet enough to care.

The players don't deserve any respect until the respect the game. Remember those "Rules with Teeth" from Bridgeport? Watching Solozabal, Iru, Ochoa, and others, it is like those rules were written for a different sport. If they are truly playing for the love of the game (as you say they are), then they have no excuse to slag off.
