For the record, I personally don't believe...NEVER DID...that a human can throw a pelota that fast. In the latter days of Milford Jai Alai management had a weekly contest among several of the harder throwing players with radar gun in hand, and with the hard throwers such as Mace, Hoey and Goixarri, the radar gun never topped 130 mph. I personally feel that Elizagi and Irastorza can throw around 140 mph, and for someone to throw nearly 50 mph fastwer than that is more than unbelievable. I wish there was a way to put a radar on Irastorza to see how fast he can pop the pelota. But 188...NAAH!!!
