Very interesting stuff, pelotapete. I followed Hartford jai alai from 1983 until the strike, then Milford until they closed. Cachin and Remen were the top two at Hartford from 83 until 88, against a great roster. I know that Michelena was the top player at Miami for many years, but I thought his career came after many of the other great players had retired or otherwise left Miami. Could you enlighten me as to who his top competition was during his prime? Thanks. I find this discussion very interesting; like trying to debate who was better, Mantle, Williams, Mays, etc.
