I went a few days before the Citrus and agree with most of the
comments that Jody made. The sad part is there were maybe 50-75
people in the building, but only about 4 were watching live jai-alai.
That's pretty sad.
The quality of play was not terrible, I've certainly seen much
worse some years in Newport, and Bridgeport's early games circa
1989-1990. However, watching the same few guys play singles over
and over is pretty boring. I would have had more fun playing poker
or watching the simulcasts.
Jody, I'm sure going there after the Citrus was a big time downer!
