I thought there were actually 3 final performances at Newport?
The first one I attended, which was the last Sunday in June. Then
another one the following week, and finally the last one on July
13th.
I agree that Diane Hurley's actions are unforgiveable. If she
had allowed the season to finish, and given live jai-alai the
proper sendoff, I could have lived with it. Because it ended the
way it did, I am no longer a customer of Newport Grand.
