Several times it would rain so hard in Tampa, water would come
streaming down the back wall. Not only did several games have
'rain delays' while Fish the ballboy would put towels
down, but one night it poured so hard, management had to cancel
the entire performance, the back court was totally under water.
Mgmt fixed the roof.
During another season a performance was cancelled because the
power kept going out during a lightning storm until finally it
didn't come on at all. The state allowed the cancelled performances
to be added on at the end of the season.
Nothing more fun than running like hell when the lights went out
and someone had just thrown the pelota!
