Re(2): BRIDGEPORT IN THE GLORY YEARS

I'm totally with you on Churruca, who is, without a doubt, the greatest I've ever seen, front or back. I met him in the mid-70's. I can only imagine him 10 years earlier. He was awesome!

But, he was playing on the greatest (IMHO) roster ever assembled. You will even get arguments on your 'best backcourter' statement from the BPT fans themselves, because that roster also had some other fair-to-middling backs, too - Norwalk wannabes like Chimela, Lasa, Goicoechea, Goyo, Echaburu, and the like - a veritable 'Backcourt Who's Who.'

Dania/Milford had Elorza II, Boniguen.

Miami/Hartford had Soroa, Marcoida, Urquiaga, Garamendi - household words.

But, I'll take The Chief.
